In view of the forthcoming 75th Independence Day celebration, a mass social work was conducted in all the sectors of Noklak Hq including the premises of government offices on 7th August 2021 at Noklak town.

During the social work and cleanliness drive, the citizens and governments employees took active participation in cleaning the compounds, footpaths, roads, drainages, premises of government offices and all public places.

Meanwhile, in a circular issued by Deputy Commissioner of Noklak, Hiazu Meru, stated that, the following events will be observed during the celebration of 75 years of India's Independence (Azadi ka amrut mahotsav) at Noklak Hq as scheduled below in the week leading to the Independence Day, 2021:

On 7th August 2021, cleanliness drive and mass social work at Noklak Hq and the officers in-charge will be EAC Noklak Sadar, P. Pukha and EAC Noklak Hq, Kathyinla.

On 9th and 10th August 2021, felicitation of senior citizens (75 years and above) with gifts and the officer in-charge will be EAC Noklak Hq, Kathyinla.

On 11th August 2021, open online quiz competition where the officer in-charge will be EAC Noklak Hq, Kathyinla. 

And on 12th August 2021, special Covid-19 vaccination camp at Noklak town will be conduct and the officer in-charge will be EAC Noklak Sadar, P. Pukha 

The overall in-charge of all this events shall be SDO (Civil) Noklak Sadar, C. Phuniang, the DC added.
