With the initiative of MLA, CL John and his wife, a mass social work was conducted for all the departments of Chen Hq. on 19th April 2021 at Chen Town. There was cleaning of all the Government Offices and Government staff quarters premises, clearing of drainage and weed from the road side.

In a short meeting after social work, the MLA said called upon the Government servants to set an example to the public to keep the environment clean and maintain good hygiene. He also explained the duty and functions of all the departments and encouraged them to serve the public at their best. He expressed his happiness over the cooperation and unity among the departments.
