In view of the upcoming Independence Day celebration 2026, a mass social work was conducted across Pungro Town following the directives issued by the Office of the Additional Deputy Commissioner Pungro on 12th August 2026.

Starting from 6:00 AM, Administration, Government employees along with the general public took part in the mass social work making Pungro town greener and cleaner. All shops remain close during the mass social work.
