Medical Department of Noklak expressed gratitude and appreciation to Superintendent of Police, Noklak, Dr. Pritpal Kaur Batra, IPS, Police department and Khiamniungan Menyiu Hoikam (KMH), headed by its President, Newkhai for their generous contributions of 100 face masks, 71 face shields and 5 PPEs to Community Health Centre, Noklak on 8th September 2020, as stated by Dr. Chongya BL, Medical Officer & Covid-19 Nodal Officer, Noklak.

The SP has generously donated her one month salary for all the materials required for PPEs, face masks, face shields in fighting against Covid-19 pandemic which is highly commendable and appreciated, stated Dr. Chongya.

The Medical Department also thanked the KMH president and members those who have spent sleepless night for stitching PPEs, face mask, and face shields.

The SP and President KMH have shown good examples to the people of Khiamniungans at this critical juncture of uncertainly due to covid-19 pandemic as true mothers who care for their children. May this generous contribution open the eyes of Khiamniungans as the fight against Covid-19 can be achieved through collective efforts and contribution from every one, Dr. Chongya added.
