The Niuland Town Council, in collaboration with the district administration and the police department, organized the "Meri Maati Mera Desh" campaign at the Town Hall (NTC) in Niuland on 18th August 2023.

SDO (Civil) of Niuland, Relise Sangtam, hoisted the national flag during the event, and DCP Niuland, Kilang Walling, unveiled a memorial plaque.
