Mera Maati Mera Desh Campaign in Medziphema sub-division was launched on 12th August 2023.

Sapling plantation drives was carried out at several locations including Medziphema Village, Piphema Old Village, Bungsang Village, Kukidolong Village, Tsiepama Model Village, New Piphema Village,Tsuuma Village,Seithekima Old Village, Seithekima 'A' Village, Tsiepama Village,New Chumukedima Village, Moava Village, Sirhi Angami Village, Sirhima Village, Khaibung Village, Zhuikhu Village, Pherima Village, Seithekima New Village, Jharnapani Village, Socunoma Village and Seithekima 'C' Village. The saplings were donated by Forest Department. 

Medziphema sub-division also observed the Meri Maati Mera Desh Campaign at City Centre on 14th August 2023 at Medziphema. It was organised by Medziphema administration.

SDO (C) Selemla Sangtam hoisted the National Flag and inaugurated the memorial plaque pay tributes to the brave soldiers who laid down their lives for the country. She also appreciated the police personnel who have contributed their service for the nation as well as the state.

The gathering took a handful of soil and took the Panch Pran Pledge and carried out plantation drives of saplings in the city centre. Department officials, GB's, Dobashis, Administration and Police personnel took active part in the Meri Maati Mera Desh Campaign commemorating the 75th years of India's Independence at Medziphema sub-division.
