Launching programme of Meri Mati Mera Desh was held at Ongpangkong (North) Block (GPS Arjuma Mokokchung Village) on 12th August 2023.

Delivering a short speech, Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung, Thsuvisie Phoji, thanked the participants for coming forward to be a part of the programme with much enthusiasm as a good citizen of India. He said Mokokchung District have produced many brave hearts who have laid down their lives for the nation. The Deputy Commissioner said that it was an honour to felicitate the heroes on the occasion.

The programme also includes, dedication of Shilaphalakam, felicitation of Veeron ka Vandan, Panch Pran Pledge with Mitti, hoisting of National Flag & singing of National Anthem and ceremonial plantation of saplings.

Keynote address was delivered by Divisional Forest Officer, Dr. Sentitula while short speech was delivered by wapang Kichu, VCC Mokokchung Village. Project Officer DRDA, Mokokchung, Imyapangla chaired the programme.
