Minister, Agriculture &Cooperation, and Minister in charge of the district (COVID-19 pandemic) G Kaito Aye visited Zunheboto district on 4th April 2020 to access the current situation and preparedness of all the different concerned departments at the district. 

The Minister in his brief interaction with the attendees, which included, heads of concerned government departments, district task force, monitoring team, church leaders, ZCCI, public leaders, volunteers and party workers, lauded the efforts and expressed appreciation by saying that, the selfless efforts so far has been heart warming and exemplary. But he also added that tougher times could be on the making for which everyone should be best prepared for the worst case scenario. During the interaction, the Minister urged the medical department to be precise on their immediate requirements and assured of every possible help from his side and the govt. 

He appealed to the church leaders on behalf of the government to always keep them and the people of Nagaland in their prayers. The Minister appealed to all to be prepared mentally, physically in the fight against the global pandemic COVID-19.

Earlier, report on behalf of the medical department was presented by Dy. CMO Dr.Akaho Sema, Preparedness on the stocks of essential commodities was delivered by president ZCCI Kikheto Muru. Detailed report on the availability of rice in the district was presented by ADS Food and Civil Supplies. 

The interaction began with invocation by Pastor ZTSBC Dr. Daniel and ended by thanks giving through Pastor SBCZ Dr Hutton.
