A Farewell Programme in honor of the outgoing Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung, Sashank Pratap Singh, IAS was held on 2nd June 2023 at the Conference Hall of DC Mokokchung.

Sashank Pratap Singh said Mokokchung was one of the best places to stay in any capacity. He said the time he was in Mokokchung was the most comfortable stay in Nagaland and said he was leaving the place with fond memories.

The outgoing DC maintained that whatever achievements he made in Mokokchung as DC, was all through the co-operation and support of the people. He also asked the people to give the same to the incoming Deputy Commissioner. Shashank said, with all the blessings of the people of Mokokchung, he would strive to do his best in his new assignments.

Thsuvisie Phoji, the incoming Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung, in his short speech, said that he was ready to take advice from the people of Mokokchung, and also asked the people to support him so that everything could be done successfully as a team. He said he was determined to give his best in serving the district and the people.

Short speeches were delivered by District Planning Officer, Imlikokba on behalf of DPDB members & HoOs, President, Ao Senden on behalf of Civil Societies Organization, President, All Ward Union Mokokchung, Limanungsang, PA to DC, Imnuksungba on behalf of DC Staff, ADC Mokokchung, Chumlamo Humtsoe on behalf of Administrative Officers. Associate Pastor, MTBA, Monglier Tzudir said the invocation, and EAC Mokokchung, Vitolu Chishi chaired the programme.
