The meeting of the Mokokchung District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) for January & February 2022 was held at District Planning Hall Mokokchung on 24th February 2022 under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner & Vice Chairman DPDB, Limawabang Jamir.
The agenda of the day included the proposal for Medical Intern Room at New Reserve, Mokokchung proposed by SP, Jamir, at the outset, welcomed four newly posted officers: District Fishery Officer, T. Tatong Longchar; District Urban Development Officer, Pangzangkokba; District Welfare Officer, Hebou Rio; Assistant Election Officer, Olivi Thurr to the house, after thorough deliberation the board agreed to forward the proposal.
The DC also committed and assured to issue an Oxygen Concentrator to the said project as and when the project materializes. After a thorough discussion, the house recommended the registration of the following societies (a) Impetus Society, Mongsenyimti, village, (b) Assam Rifles Ao Telongjem, Dilong Ward, MKG. And sent to the government for approval.
The House also took the COVID-19 and vaccination status and report in the district from the department on which CMO gave the status report on 18-44 years: the total number of 1st Dose in the district stands 41959, 2nd Dose 34732. And 45 years and above: 1st Dose 27332, 2nd Dose 25022. And 15- 18 years: 1st Dose 4935, or 35.35%, 2nd Dose 2428 or, 17.39% of the target 13960.
The DC also informed the house that Dr. T. Ao Inter District Tournament Nagaland will be hosted by the Mokokchung district from 19th April to 28th April 2022, therefore, he called upon all the district HoDs to be mentally prepared and extend cooperation for the success of the Tournament. He also informed the house of the upcoming (DISHA) meeting convened by Tokheho Yeptomi, MP Lok Sabha & Chairperson of the district Level Co-ordination and Monitoring Committee on 1st March 2022, and requested the district HoDs to be present in the meeting.
Newly posted officers: District Fishery Officer, T. Tatong Longchar; District Urban Development Officer, Pangzangkokba; District Welfare Officer, Hebou Rio; Assistant Election Officer, Olivi Thurr were welcomed during the meeting.
