MON CELEBRATES AYUSHMAN BHARAT DIWAS 2022

Health & Family Welfare Department Mon celebrated Ayushman Bharat Diwas 2022 at the Conference Hall of the District Hospital, Mon on 23rd September 2022.

EAC Mon Hq, Molusangla Ozukum said 62% coverage is a phenomenal achievement for the District since it is not an easy task to sensitize the people. She congratulated the Medical Superintendent (MS), District Hospital (DH) Mon, Nodal Officer AB- PMJAY, and all medical staff who are involved in the programme. On behalf of the District Administration, Ozukum extended coordination and assistance needed during the implementation of the programme.

Nodal Officer AB-PMJAY, Dr. S. Yingnei Konyak, briefed on the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Aarogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) & Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission and the status of the programme in the District.

MS DH Mon, Dr. Yartenla Jamir, in her welcome address, said the district is celebrating Ayushman Bharat Diwas for the fourth year. She stated that many people have benefitted through the programme and wanted more people to get registered for which she appealed to all participants to give primary importance to awareness of the scheme for the general public.

A testimony was shared by Hangam Konyak, a beneficiary of the scheme. PMAM, Pongjei Konyak presented a special song while Chapin DH Mon, Y. P David pronounced the invocation.

The programme was chaired by SMO, Dr. S. Ngampa Sangme, and the vote of thanks was delivered by SMO, Dr. Yanang P Konyak.
