The District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) Mon conducted a quarterly meeting of DDMA on 16th May 2023 at Deputy Commissioner Conference Hall Mon. Ajit Kumar Verma, Deputy Commissioner Mon & Chairman DDMA Mon called the members to review the pre-monsoon preparedness in the district.

Superintendent of Police Mon, Uniel Kichu has requested all the members to work in unity and proper coordination among the members for the progress of the district.

The following Departments briefed their preparedness for pre-monsoon: - PWD (R&B)/ Housing, Out Post Administration of Town Councils, District Education Officer, Food & Civil Supplies, Chief Medical Officer, Veterinary and Animals Husbandry, Power, Home Guards & Civil Defence SDRF, Fire & Emergency Services.
