Mon District monthly DPDB meeting was held at DC Conference Hall Mon, on 18th April 2023. Deputy Commissioner Mon, Ajit Kumar Verma, welcomed the members and introduced the new members. He thanked the last DPDB Chairman CL John for his help and guidance. DC Mon spoke about the responsibility of the Officers' Club of Mon and encouraged the new members to join the club. He had an open discussion on the deteriorating road conditions in Mon Town and requested the concerned department to at least go for repair for the coming monsoon. He also highlighted the visit of VVIPs in the district very soon.

The Principal of Wangkhao Government College gave a brief description of Wangkhao Government College- the only government college in Mon District. It Offers undergraduate courses in arts and is affiliated with Nagaland University, established in 1983.
