The monthly meeting of Mon DPDB was held on 26th of September 2025 at the Deputy Commissioner's Conference Hall, Mon under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner & Vice Chairman DPDB Mon, Wennyei Konyak, NCS. The Mon Smart Hub Portal was inaugurated by Wennyei Konyak.

The Board reviewed the last month’s meeting minutes and discussed the following agenda, setting up of Private Bus Stand at Yingtongho below Mon village, upgradation of AME (Mechanical) to EE Mon Division, construction of New Office Building and Staff Quarters for SDEO Tizit and Wakching.
The Board approved for registration of Spoken English Academy, Walo Ward Mon and forwarded it to the Government for final approval.
Ajit Kumar, while discussing the agenda, explained the concept of Vibrant Village Programme, an initiative of the GoI, to make village of bordering country more accessible with all the facilities and infrastructure like better road, telecom, electricity, education and healthcare system. To make the local people better livelihood and to provide them with the basic needs. He further said under Myanmar Vibrant Village Programme Phase 2, nine villages under Mon District have been selected.
He also said that the selection of Skill/ Training Centre for PMVY is limited at Mon district and that only those who have undergone the training will be able to avail bank loan facilities. In this regard, General Manager, DIC Mon, Y. Shoiyan Konyak appealed to the HoDs to assist by providing the Office’s Conference Hall so that they can impart various skills/ training to the people.
