The District Planning and Development Board Mon held its meeting on 26th July 2022 at the Conference Room, Office of DC Mon chaired by Advisor, Land Resource and Chairman, DPDB Mon, C. L. John.

The Board presented Meritorious Certificate to the top three students of HSLC & HSSLC result 2021 under Mon District.

The following agendas were deliberated and forwarded to the concerned authorities for necessary action:

1. Proposal for up-gradation of Government High School Mon Town 'C' to Government Higher Secondary School.
2. Registration of Helping Hand Society, Mon.
3. Registration of People's Welfare Society, Mon.
4. Registration of Longgaem Valley Association, Mon Town.
5. Opening of Nanpha School, Hukzukuh at Wangti Village and for approval.
6. Selection of semi-intensive Mithun rearing farm at Chenloisho Village Reserve Forest under Mon District Aspirational Programme.
7. Extra classroom for Higher Secondary School, Aboi.
8. Establishing of Central University at Mon District.
9. Establishing a new Government College at Tobu and Aboi.

The meeting witnessed a PowerPoint presentation by the E.E Water Resources Department, Mon.

It was attended by MLA, N. Thongwang Konyak; DC Mon, Ajit Kumar Verma, IAS, and other members of the board.
