1st Quarterly DDMA( District Disaster Management Authority) tentative agenda meeting was held for the Monsoon Preparedness in the office of the Deputy Commissioner Conference hall on the 9th of May 2023. In this agenda meeting, Deputy Commissioner, Sachin Jaiswal said that the 1st quarterly meeting is held in all the districts, and also every year at the state level. How well prepared the state is to face the upcoming monsoon. He urged the respective departments that an update of DDMA weather should be carried out every month and information should be shared on the WhatsApp group so that essential needs could be delivered on time and also take up the initial action and preparation to be taken by the respective departments and be ready for any disaster in the upcoming days. He also requested the SDRF (State Disaster Response Force) to give training to the people nearby the riverside so that they will be aware during the flood disaster. 

In this Agenda of the meeting, the presentation for Monsoon Preparedness was delivered by the Department of PWD (R&B), Water Resources, Dimapur Municipal Council, SDRF, Health & Family Welfare, Public Health Engineering, and Food & Civil Supplies.
