The monsoon preparedness meeting was conducted by DDMA Longleng at DC'S Conference Hall Longleng on 19th May 2023. The meeting was chaired by the DDMA Chairman and Deputy Commissioner Longleng, Dharam Raj, IAS, and attended by all the line departments.

The line departments highlighted their preparations for any eventualities during the monsoon. The meeting focused especially on the buffer stock of medicines, rice, cooking gas, fuel, and essential supplies.

All the departments were directed to appoint a liaison officer and submit it to the DDMA chairman and the compliance report is to be submitted to the DDMA chairman latest by 31st May 2023.
