In line with the decision of the District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) to hold monthly departmental social work on the fourth Friday of every month, a social work was conducted at the District Headquarter, Peren on 26th September 2025.

All government departments actively participated in the drive, which covered office premises, staff quarters, surrounding compounds, and the adjoining road stretch. The exercise was undertaken with the aim of ensuring a cleaner and healthier environment for both employees and the community.

The initiative aimed to maintain cleanliness in and around government establishments and promote a sense of collective responsibility among officers and staff.
