The 80th Independence Day was also observed at Monyaksu Sub-division at the SDO (C) office premise, Monyakshu Headquarter, Mon on 15th August 2026. The SDO (civil) Monyakshu, C. Wangan hoisted the National flag, took the Rashtriya Salute presented by NVG, Changlangshu village and read out the Independence Day speech.

The Baptist High School sang the National Anthem. The program was attended by the Government employees, GBs, DBs, and general public.
