The Celebration of Bijlee Mahotsav held at Langa Village under Shamator District under the theme "Ujjwal Bharat, UjjwalBhavishya" Power@2047 with Deputy Commissioner, Shamator, Thsuvisie Phoji DC as the special guest.

The Deputy Commissioner stated that electricity is one of the most essential daily needs in the modern world. He encouraged the citizens to be responsible and make judicial use of electricity.

A short Speech was delivered by Sr. Manager NEEPCO Ldt. & District Nodal Officer Power, Er. Alemwati. A short film on universal household electrification, Village Electrification was also screened during the programme. And cultural presentations from Kuthur Village.

The Programme was chaired by EAC Sotokur, Kihomong. Welcome speech was delivered by Chairman, Langa Village Council, while vote of thanks was proposed by Executive Engineer, Power Department, Tuensang, Er. Suralo.
