The most important component of the project are the trainees, the commitment and interest of the trainees on the training is very important without which the training programme will have no positive result, he said. Tuensang district is one of the most remote districts with poor connectivity where employment opportunities lacks due to non-availability of the industries and big companies; so this kind of Skill Development trainings are very essential for the unemployed youth to get skills to employ oneself he also mentioned. It is our birth right to build our nation but since Nagas have lost the work culture we fail in contributing in building our state, he said. Regarding the training he said that it is a unique programme to impart skills so that one individual can play a multi tasking role in their employment. This programme is a stage wise/level project in which the government is all set ready to equip the trainees with the equipment along with the completion of the trainings, he said.
The inaugural programme was led by Er. Netenba Ajem Vice Principal ITI Tuensang.
