Deputy Commissioner Phek, Kumar Ramnikhant IAS, who is also the Chairman of the District Water & Sanitation Mission, inaugurated the NABL (National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories) accredited Water Quality Laboratory at PHED office Phek on 2nd May 2023.

Ramnikhant emphasized the advantages and benefits of having such a laboratory in the District. He said that people should know the quality of water before consumption, and urged the citizens of Phek District to get their water tested.

The keynote address was said by Er. Vikuosa Khape, Lab Head and Executive Engineer PHED office, Phek.

Quality Manager and District Chemist, PHED Division, Kethonu Theyo highlighted the information about NABL.

The programme was chaired by Abigail Ritse, Sanitation & Hygiene Consultant, PHED Phek.
