The first round of Naga Chef – Season 8 “Let’s get cooking!” got underway at the amphitheatre in Kisama on 2nd December 2021. This year’s Naga Chef winner will walk away with a prize money of Rupees three lakh and gift hampers worth over two lakh.

A total number of nine participants are taking part in the competition all vying for the prestigious title. There will be seven rounds that will identify different skills required to be a successful chef and entrepreneur. Contestants will be assessed on specific cooking skills, creativity and innovation, experience and knowledge of local cuisine, passion for food and the art of cooking, ability to work under pressure attitude and teamwork skills.

The competition will conclude on the 9th of December while the winner will be announced on 10th December 2021.
