Deputy Commissioner and Chief District Planning and Development Officer Tseminyu, Dr. Zasekuolie Chusi (IAS)has informed that the first monthly District Planning and Development Board meeting of Tseminyu District after the up-gradation from sub-division is scheduled on 14th April 2022 at 12 pm in the office chamber of Deputy Commissioner, Tseminyu. All the members and HODs of Kohima District have been informed to attend the meeting positively.

With reference to media reports regarding the Hindi imposition row citing the statement of the Union Home Minister, Amit Shah that all the eight North East States have agreed to make Hindi compulsory up to Class X, Principal Director, School Education, Shanavas C through a press release clarified that:
