SPEAKER CONVENES BUSINESS ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING

Speaker, Nagaland Legislative Assembly and the Chairman of the Business Advisory Committee (BAC), Sharingain Longkumer has convened a meeting of the BAC on 23.07.2021 at 11:00 A.M in the Committee Room, Assembly Secretariat to finalise the Provisional Programme for the Eighth Session of the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly.

All Members of the BAC have been requested to make it convenient to attend the meeting as scheduled.

WOKHA DTF MEETING ON 13th JULY 2021

DC KOHIMA INFORMS ON TRAFFIC REGULATION

In order to facilitate the overlaying of bridge deck slab at Dzudza village in the ongoing Kohima-Dimapur 4 lane road construction, Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie, has ordered that all vehicular movement along the aforementioned stretch shall remain closed from 04:00 am to 12:00 noon of Sunday the 11th July 2021.

RELAXATIONS OF LOCKDOWN REGULATIONS - UNLOCK 2

The High Powered Committee on COVID-19 in its meeting held on 8th July 2021 reviewed the COVID-19 situation, and noted that while the seven days moving average of the positivity rate of COVID-19 in the State was showing a declining trend, it still continues to remain above 5%.

DC KOHIMA NOTIFIES ON UNLOCK PHASE -II

In pursuance to the directive issued by the State Government, the following regulations in
enforcement of Unlock Phase-II have been made within Kohima District from 11 th  July to
17 th  July 2021:
i. The practice of ‘NO MASK-NO MOVEMENT’ and ‘NO MASK-NO ENTRY’ shall be
strictly enforced in nil public places by the Kohima District Task Force and law enforcing
agencies.

NBSE WARNS ERRING SCHOOLS

The Nagaland Board of School Education stated that it had notified to its registered schools vide Notification No. 35/2021 dated 20.5.2021 on how the schools should conduct the online classes/academic activities. Assessment guidelines for the schools to make continuous assessments in parts and submit the consolidated marks secured by the students were given vide No.NBE-10/Ad-Misc(10)/2021-22/814 dated 14.6.2021.
