To take precautionary measures before the onset of South west monsoon and in view of the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic, DC Dimapur Anoop Khinchi has requested all the technical departments maintaining community assets to send in status report of the public utilities, the performa for the periodical inspection of public utilities as issued earlier by NSDMA, Home Department.

The Nagaland Board of School Education in a notification NO.NBE-8/EX-Results/2020-21 Dated Kohima, the 28th May 2020 has informed that the provisional results of the HSLC and HSSLC Examinations 2020 conducted by the NBSE shall be declared in the late afternoon of 30th May 2020. The results shall be made available in the following modes:

A.        INTERNET:

The University Grants Commission (UGC), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India had received grievances  from the students and parents stating that universities and colleges are insisting upon immediate payment of annual/semester tuition fee, examination  fee, etc. The students and parents had represented that due to the financial hardship being faced due to the lockdown, they are not in a position to make payment of fee.

On 27th May 2020, at 4:45 AM, five buses carrying 151 persons (returnees from Chennai) from Kohima reached Sao Chang College Quarantine Centre, Tuensang, and were admitted after necessary procedures were followed. Their samples for COVID-19 testing were taken at Kohima before being sent to Tuensang and results were awaited. At 7:00 AM, report of a person being tested positive for COVID-19 was received from the State Nodal Officer, IDSP, Kohima.
