The Deputy Commissioner Kohima has informed that necessary requirements of foodgrains have been dispatched to the wards and colonies as identified by the respective wards/colonies Chairmen on 1st and 2nd April 2020 at Kohima Relief Distribution Center, Local Ground. 

A Special Committee has been constituted of the following officers to liaise with and advise the district administration and Police of Dimapur on all matters concerning the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Committee will also inter-alia working out logistics of opening locality wise markets, expansion of quarantine facilities, etc.

For better monitoring of the vehicles carrying essential commodities from Assam, Deputy Commissioner, Zunheboto, Peter Lichamo issued an order informing all that henceforth, vehicles carrying essential commodities shall be allowed to enter Zunheboto Town only between 11:00 am to 6:00 pm.
