The Regional Transport Authority (RTA) Kohima had a meeting on 4 September, 2020 at the Office Chamber of Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kohima.

In pursuance to the Government of Nagaland Vide Order NO.CSO/GAB-I/COM/GEN-1/2020 (B) dated 31st August 2020 it has been informed that all types of business establishments/ shops under Mon Town will function from 9:00 am to 4:00 Pm every day except on Sunday wef 31st August 2020.

The Directorate of Technical Education has informed all the candidates who have applied for NERIST Entrance Examination (NEE-2020), that the Institute has decided to defer the dates for NEE-2020.

In pursuant of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Higher Education, Scholarship Division, letter no. 16-19/2020 NS-1 dated the 31st July, 2020, the Nagaland Board of School Education has notified for information of all concerned that the beneficiary students may open an account as an option in the Post Office or use existing Post Office account for the purpose of Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) under Central Sector Scheme of Scholarships (CSSS).

Additional Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Nagaland, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa has notified that in view of the detection of a COVID-19 positive person residing at the following locations viz. Potterlane Colony, Lower Chandmari Colony and D-Block Colony, Kohima, the house/residence listed below is demarcated as "SEALED AREA" in order to contain the spread of the disease/infection and for necessary contact tracing.

ADC Kohima Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa has informed that in view of the detection of a COVID-19 positive person residing at the following locations viz Merhulietsa, paramedical colony, Zenuobadze colony, D'block colony, Sector - C and New Sect Police complex (Outpost) Kohima, the areas defined below are demarcated as SEALED AREA in order to contain the spread of the disease or infection and for necessary contact tracing.
