Wokha District Disaster Management Authority (WDDMA) held a meeting to discuss on disaster during monsoon season on 15th July 2020 at DCs conference hall, Wokha.
In the interest of public safety and to minimize non-essential movement of vehicles, Gregory Thejawelie, NCS, Deputy Commissioner, Kohima and Chairman, District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Kohima in exercise of powers conferred to him under Section 34 (b) of the Disaster Management Act 2005, do hereby implement ‘Odd-Even’ system for movement of private vehicles under the jurisdiction of Kohima Municipality, except on Sundays, as mentioned under:
In view of the lifting of total lockdown on 15th July 2020 in Mon district DC Mon, Thavaseelan K has notified that the following guidelines will be enforce in the whole of Mon district till further orders.
Deputy Commissioner Mon, Thavaseelan K IAS, notified that a committee has been constituted for examining opportunities for re-employment of returnees to Mon District from various parts of the country and enhancement of the local economy in the light of the COVID-19 pandemic with the following members:

In connection with detection of two positive COVID-19 cases one each from UGC Girls' Hostel Yingli College and Phom Lempong School Quarantine centre, Longleng the Deputy Commissioner Longleng, in the interest of Public Health and Safety, has declared the UGC Girls' Hostel Yingli College and Phom Lempong School as Containment Zone as defined in the Standard Operating procedure issued by the Directorate of Health & Family Welfare, Government of Nagaland.
