Deputy Commissioner, Wokha Ajit Kumar Ranjan, IAS informed that to allow uninterrupted road repair and maintenance work at NH-2 Wokha/Mokokchung road 98+300 KM and other portion of Wokha-Chukitong 2 lane road, all forms of vehicular movement from Tsungiki 2nd Bazaar to Doyang Bridge (Mokokchung road) shall remain suspended from 10th July to 16th July 2022 between 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

DC Kohima Shanavas C, IAS has informed that due to the detection of African Swine Fever (ASF) in various locations in Kohima district, the following areas have been notified as: 

ADC Pfutsero, Japheth Woch NCS has informed that unusual death of pigs is being reported from Phusachudu village and the pigs were found to be affected with high fever and anorexia. Similar reports were also received from Pfutsero town and villages under Pfutsero Sub-Division. The collection of blood samples of the affected pigs and post-mortem on carcass has been carried out for further Lab testing.
