In pursuance with the concern raised during the District Task Force meeting on the 18th Sept 2021, a meeting with the Mobile Driver & Owner Union Noklak and Taxi Counters of Noklak was held on the 29th Sept 2021 at Deputy Commissioner's Conference Hall to discuss on the overloading of passengers ferried by the taxis within Noklak District. 

The following were resolved: 

            District Level Committee Noklak for implementation of New India@75 meeting was held on 30th September 2021 at DC Conference hall Noklak under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Hiazu Meru.

The following points are discussed to be implemented.

District Planning Officer & Member Secretary DPDB, Kohima, Pudusul Luho has informed all DPDB members of Kohima that due to unavoidable circumstances, the DPDB meeting for the month of October 2021 has been pre-pone to 4th October (Monday) at 10:00 A.M in the DPDB Conference Hall.

The Department of Youth Resources & Spots has notified that in commemoration of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsava and to organise Clean India Campaign from 1st October to 31st October, 2021, the Government of Nagaland has constitute a State Level Committee and District Level Committee for implementation of the programme.

State Level Committee

Nagaland Mega Entertainment will hold an audition for the whole Nagaland at Dimapur Tourist Lodge on 8 October for Mr& Miss Northeast India 2021 and Mrs. Northeast India 2021. The grand finale will be held on 31st October at ATI Makhowa, Guwahati.

The total cash prize for the winners is worth rupees 1 Lakh along with exciting gift hampers.

The long cherished dream to have a separate Judiciary District Court became a reality for the people of Wokha district as the department of Justice & Law, Government of Nagaland has inaugurated the district court complex of Wokha on 28th September 2021.
