TRAINING ON VALUE ADDED FISH PRODUCTS AT AREE OLD VILLAGE ASPIRATIONAL VILLAGE
Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources organized one day hands on training on “Value Added Fish Products” on 22nd January, 2021 at Aree Old, Aspirational Village under 39-Sanis Assembly constituency, Wokha District. The training was held for the women SHG’s under Gender Budgeting during 2019-20 with an aim to help them in entrepreneurship development.
MOTORISED SPINNING SKILLED TRAINING FUNCTION CUM MACHINES DISTRIBUTION HELD AT KIPHIRE
Motorised Spinning Skilled training function cum Machines Distribution was held at District Sericulture Office Kiphire from 18th - 23rdJanuary 2021.
DC Kiphire, Ajit Kumar Ranjan IAS, in his short speech stated that he is ready to help for marketing linkage and to send the spinners for further skilled training (designing).He also adviced the spinners to work sincerely for self-employment and work with the existing SHG in the villages.
NATIONAL DAY OF THE GIRL CHILD CELEBRATED AT LONGLENG
District administration & MSK Longleng celebrated National Day of the Girl child on 24th January 2021 at DC conference hall Longleng.
Longlang Luckpan, CDPO Longleng in his short speech encouraged the women & girl child present to participate and attend any programs conducted under BBBP. He also highlighted about the service provided by Social welfare department for women and child health care.

NST bus service from Tuensang to ITC Dan inaugurated was on 25th Jan 2021 at Dan by Advisor for Prison, Printing and Stationary, H. Haiying.

WORKSHOP FOR MEDIA PERSONS ON COVID-19 VACCINE HELD AT PEREN
Medical Department, Peren District organised a workshop for media persons on COVID-19 vaccine on 25th January, 2021 at CHC Jalukie with CMO Office Peren Media Officer, Celine Sechü as the Resource person.
Celine stated COVID-19 Vaccine is a safe and effective which boosts our immunity and it will be available in a phased manner. She added, an individual will receive 2 doses each and there will be a gap of 28 days between the two doses of COVID-19 vaccine.
