Kiphire District celebrated Teachers' Day on 5th September 2022 at Hopongkyu Memorial hall, Kiphire with the Deputy Commissioner Kiphire, T. Wati Aier, NCS as the Guest of Honour.

Nagaland Board of School Education stated that the Ministry of Education, Department of School Education and Literacy, New Delhi has been observing the Swachhata Pakhwada every year since 2016 with the involvement of the schools making it is successful mass movement.
