State Bank of India ATM was formally inaugurated by Aotemsu IPS, DIGP (Training) at the NAP training Complex, Chumukedimaon 12th Oct, 2020 in the presence of Ben Longkumer, Commandant NAPTC, Abinash Hemdrom AGM SBI, host of Police Officers, Bank Officials and many others.

A virtual meeting was held on 12th October 2020 with the State Nodal Officers for Jan Andolan COVID campaign, organised by the Secretary (Information & Broadcasting) along with Secretary (Health & Family Welfare), Government of India. It was attended by the Chief Secretaries of State Governments and Administrators of Union Territories.

A IAS in a press release clarified that the Model Code of Conduct in Kohima district, in view of the Bye-Election to the 14 Southern Angami I (ST) Assembly Constituency shall be applicable only within the limits of 14 Southern Angami I (ST) Assembly Constituency, including the three polling stations under Ward No. 5 Kitsubozou (Chotobosti).

In view of the detection of Covid-19 positive person residing at Judicial quarter, Leinak ward (Noklangkong) Longleng,the building has been sealed for 48 hours in order to contain the spread of the disease/ infection and for necessary contact tracing.

All movement of person /vehicle in the sealed area is strictly restricted / prohibited and under active surveillance with effect from the date of sealing.
