NLA NOTIFIES ON VERIFICATION OF ROAD WORKS

Commissioner & Secretary, Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Dr. P. J. Antony has informed that Kuzholuzo Nienu, MLA and Chairman of the Committee on Government Assurances has fixed an On-the-Spot Verification of the status of the Road Improvement Works in Dimapur and Kohima cities under NH-39 on 6th & 7th October, 2020 respectively.

TRANSPORT DEPARTMENT NOTIFIES

            The Secretary, Transport Department, Nagaland, A. Robin Lotha on 8th September 2020 in a notification informed that with the Central Government making mandatory the fitment of FASTag on all motor vehicles under category M and N, sold on or after 1st December 2017, the FASTag details will be captured while registering new vehicles or issuing fitness certificates to transport vehicles plying under national permit henceforth.

TRANSPORT DEPT TO RESUME REGISTRATION OF VEHICLES

Transport Department, Government of Nagaland in a Notification No. TPT/MV/05/2020 has informed that the temporary suspension of services pertaining to registration of vehicles and driving licenses is hereby lifted. The Motor Vehicles Department shall resume with immediate effect its function of registration of vehicles and issue of driving licenses.

GOVT CONSTITUTES SLMC

The Government of Nagaland has constituted the State Level Monitoring Committee (SLMC) and the District Level Monitoring Committee to facilitate the implementation of financing facility under the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund:-

NAGALAND LAUNCHES NADCP

Nagaland alongwith the rest of the States has launched the Foot & Mouth Disease – Mukt Bharat under National Animal Disease Control Programme (NADCP) which was approved by the Union Cabinet on 31.05.2019 as a new Central Sector Scheme aimed to fully eradicate Foot & Mouth Disease by 2025.
