AFRICAN SWINE FEVER DETECTED IN THE STATE

The Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services has notified that outbreak of African Swine Fever (ASF) has occurred in the State of Nagaland. This was confirmed through RTPCR test by National Institute of High Security Animal Disease, Bhopal from the samples submitted from the District of Phek & Kiphire.

CHIEF SECRETARY HOLDS MEETING WITH NIDA

A meeting with the office bearers and representative of the Nagaland In-service Doctors’ Association (NIDA) was held under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary Nagaland and other senior officers at the Chief Secretary’s Conference Hall, Kohima on 17th April 2021.

The meeting deliberated on the issue of superannuation age of the doctors and the proposed agitation of NIDA in this matter.

PRESS BRIEFING ON CONSULTATIVE MEETING ON RIIN

Decision to form a Joint Consultative Committee on RIIN headed by the Nagaland Home Commissioner, Commissioner Nagaland as the Member Secretary and representatives from CNTC, ENPO and TOP as Members in the State level was taken during the consultative meeting on RIIN held on 16th April 2021 at the State Banquet Hall, Kohima.

AWARNESS ON COVID-19 SECOND WAVE
