Directorate of Technical Education stated that  students belonging to Schedule Tribes of Nagaland pursuing Diploma/Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in Engineering (both fresh and renewal) within India, recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) have been informed that, in view of online registration, the State Technical Scholarship will be made 'Live' for the session 2021-2022.

 

 

In continuation of Notification No. 82/2021 of even No. dated 27th September 2021, Nagaland Board of School Education has notified again for information and reminder of all the heads of registered institutions that VidyarthiVigyanManthan, India’s largest Science Talent Search Examination, for 2021-22 will be held on 30th November or 5th December 2021 any time between 10.00 AM to 8:00 PM for 90 minutes all over India.

 

 

The monthly District Planning and Development Board meeting was held on 11th October 2021 at DC’s Conference Hall, Wokha.

Vice chairman DPDB & Deputy Commissioner, Wokha, OrenthungLotha chaired the meeting. The meeting was attended by the Chairman DPDB Wokha& Advisor IT, S&T, NRE, MmhonlumoKikon and MLA, Dr. ChumbenMurry.

Senior Treasury Officer, Wokha has informed all pensioners who are drawing pension under Treasury Officer Office, Wokha both Family and Life to come for physical verification on 21st and 22nd October 2021 during office hours. Joint Verification Team led by Assistant Manager, NSDMA, Jonji Odyuo and members, Veterinary Assistant Surgeon, Meluri, Dr. Shipatu Thupitor; Extra Assistant Commissioner, Lephori, C. Tsalirnse Sangtam; Nodal Officer, DDMA-Phek, David Thupitor; Consultant, NSDMA, Kati Jamir, undertook a three-day on-the-spot assessment at the villages of Kanjang, Reguri and Akhen from 7th to 9th October, 2021.

An emergency consultative meeting was held at DC's Office Chamber on 8th October 2021 with Phek District Maytas- Gayatri Victim Association (PDMGDVA), Chakhesang Public Organisation under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Phek, Razouvolie Dozo, NCS. The DC apprised the members of the seriousness and initiatives taken by the State Government to address the grievances of the Phek District Maytas- Gayatri Victim Association.
