A total of 1278 Health Care Workers (HCWs) and 517 Frontline Workers (FLWs) were vaccinated till date at various session sites under Kohima district. District Immunization Officer, Kohima, Dr. Rupert Peseyie informed that the last date for HCWs vaccination will be 20th February, 2021 while mop up will be for 5 days and last date for FLWs vaccination to get 1st dose will be 6th March 2021.

            DC, Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie has directed petrol pumps to fill petrol and diesel directly in the vehicles and not for any extra gallons, Jerry Cans, etc. with a view to avoid shortage of fuel in Kohima District.

            The Order also stated that no fuel should be issued in bulk without written permission from the office of the Deputy Comimissioner, Kohima.

            The District Level Centre for Women- Mahila Shakti Kendra, Kohima held its quarterly district level task force meeting at the Office Chamber of the Deputy Commissioner on 9th February, chaired by DC of Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie Sote, who is the chairperson of the district level task force, DLCW-MSK.
