Additional Deputy Commissioner & Administrator, Tuensang Town Council (TTC), Tuensang, Ajit Kumar Verma IAS has stated that various salesperson /street hawkers are roaming door to door in town area for business purposes, which is posing a potential threat for spread of COVID - 19 in Town area.

Deputy Commissioner Peren, Sentiwapang Aier, NCS has informed that the ongoing Lockdown in the District has been extended till 31st May, 2021 and all such activities restricted/permitted as per the order shall continue in addition to the following.

In view of the detection of covid-19 positive case and in order to take preventive measures to contain the spread of covid-19, Additional Deputy Commissioner and Chairman BTF Chozuba, on 18th May 2021 ordered the sealing of Zudulhu building at Phakuzho Ward, Chozubatownfor 48 hours with immediate effect.

In order to take effective measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, SDO(C), Wakching, ReliseSangtam on 18th May 2021 ordered the sealing of Wakching Police Outpost till further order. In another order, SDO(C) Wakching, ordered the sealing of the following houses at Wakching Town: 

In the interest of public health and safety and in view of the detection of Covid-19 positive case among the employees of SBI, Longleng, DC &DTF Chairman Longleng, ShayungPhom has ordered total shut down of State Bank of India, Longleng, w.e.f18th May 2021 to 31st May 2021.The action has been necessitated to control and contain the spread of the disease and for necessary contact tracing and disinfection of the office.
