NAGALAND POLICE CONTINUES CONDUCTING RAIDS & SEARCHES

SP (SCRB) & PRO PHQ through a press release stated that in compliance to the Model Code of Conduct and in its continuous effort to serve better, the Nagaland Police Department has been conducting raids & searches and made huge seizures of IMFL all across the state.

After obtaining permission from court for pre trial destruction a total of 3,068 (Three Thousand Sixty Eight) litres and 7,843 (Seven Thousand Eight Hundred Forty Three) nos. of seized IMFL were destroyed by the Nagaland Police on different occasions, in the presence of Magistrate, Dobashis and others. Of the total quantity of IMFL destroyed, 7,843 (Seven Thousand Eight Hundred Forty Three) nos of IMFL  were from CP Dimapur, 2,494 (Two Thousand Four Hundred Ninety Four)  litres from Mokokchung DEF and 339 (Three Hundred Thirty Nine) litres from Longleng DEF.

It added that the Nagaland Police continues to seek public cooperation and support during this time for conduct of free and fair election.
