NSCW in a release has stated that the sanity of security forces involved in the shooting of innocent civilians at Oting, Mon, must be questioned and condemned in the highest order. The merciless shooting of these young men is inhumane and insult to all Nagas. This is a National shame! The release added that in this day and age, the Nagaland State Commission for Women cannot imagine that such callous and mindless massacre of innocent civilians can happen. Justice must be delivered at all cost within a specific time frame. Nagas cannot be gunned down at will. NSCW called upon all the women’s organisations/hohos to condemn this inhumane and cowardly act. It also urged the women organisations/hohos to assist the bereaved families and those injured in this highly condemnable incident.    

NSCW had already deputed a member at ground zero, since 5th December, 2021 and are in close touch with KNSK.
