Directorate of Economics & Statistics, Government of Nagaland, along with the rest of the country will celebrate the National Statistics Day on 29th June 2021 with the theme “End Hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture”.

Observing the National Statistics Day 2021, a video conferencing program is being organized by the Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation, Government of India with the following eminent speakers:

Rao Inderjet Singh: Minister of State(IC) Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, Government of India.

Dr. G P Samanta: Chief Statistician of India & Secretary, Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation, Government of India.

Pietro Gennari: Chief Statistician, Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, Rome, Italy.

Renata Lok-Dessallien: UN Resident Coordinator, India

Prof. Bimal Kumar Roy, Chairman, National Statistical Commission, Government of India.

Dr. Sanghamitra Bandyopadhayay: Director, Indian Statistical Institute.
