Nagaland Board of School Education has notified all the registered Heads of Institutions that the Ministry of Power, Government of India with an aim to motivate the children towards energy conservation has been organizing School, State and National Level Painting Competitions every year, since 2005. This activity is being executed by Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) on behalf of Ministry of Power with the active support of CPSUs under Ministry and State Education Departments. This painting competition will help in further sensitizing the students, teachers and parents about the concept and importance of energy conservation.

This year, to celebrate the 75th year of Independence with the theme of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav-Energy Efficient India”, all Heads of Institutions under NBSE have been directed to encourage the students to participate in the competition. Students of 5th, 6th and 7th standard under Group ‘A’ and students of 8th, 9th and 10th standard under Group ‘B’ are eligible to participate. Timeline for online registration for the State Level Competition will be from 1st November 2021 to 30th November 2021. The details of the Painting Competition and list of State Nodal Officers are uploaded on www.beeindia.gov.in.
