NCS (P) 2023 BATCH UNDERGOES SPECIAL INDUCTION TRAINING

The ongoing 6 weeks Special Induction Training for NCS (Probationers) 2023 Batch, sponsored by Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms, Government of Nagaland, commenced on 11th April 2023 and is being conducted at Administrative Training Institute by Centre for Policy Research, New Delhi. The Centre for Policy Research (CPR) was founded in 1973 and is India’s leading think tank. CPR is a non-profit, non-partisan, independent institution dedicated to conducting research that contributes to high quality scholarship, better policies, and a more robust public discourse about the issues that impact life in India.

CPR brings together India’s best thinkers and policy practitioners who are at the forefront of both research and engagement in the policy space, drawing from various disciplines and professional backgrounds. CPR conducts advanced and in-depth research on a wide range of policy-relevant issues, with a focus on India’s 21st-century challenges. Through its research and policymaking engagements, CPR works closely with policymakers in its aim to place India firmly on the path of building a twenty-first century policy ecosystem.

The training will cover topics on Values and Skills for the 21st Century Civil Servant, Essential Knowledge: Overarching Issues and Sector Knowledge.

The resource persons are Deepak Sanan (IAS retd.), Senior Visiting Fellow; Dr. Mekhala Krishnamurthy, Senior Fellow and Dr. K Rahul Sharma, Fellow who are all associated with the State Capacity Initiative at Centre for Policy Research, New Delhi and other subject experts from diverse fields.
