NEWLY CONSTRUCTED AO MORUNG INAUGURATED AT KISAMA

The newly constructed Ao Morung was inaugurated by the Rural Development Minister, Metsubo Jamir as guest of honour on 26th November, 2021, at Heritage Village, Kisama. 

Addressing the gathering the guest of honour expressed his appreciation towards the leaders of the construction committee for their support and cooperation and for successfully completing the Morung in under a week.

Advisor, Dr. Nicky Kire, in his short speech, congratulated the Ao community for their hard work and successful completion of the Morung in a short span of time. 

The President of the Ao Senden, Kohima Ao Officers Telongjem (KAOT), Kohima Ao Telongjem (KAT), Watsu Union Kohima also spoke in the program which was also attended by Minister Tongpang Ozükum, Advisor Imnatiba, and Presidents of 14 Tribes of Nagaland.
