Niuland District bids farewell to the outgoing DC Ajit Kumar Verma IAS, ADC Athrila S. Sangtam, and SDO Civil Anoka H Assumi at DC's Conference Hall, Niuland on 10th June 2022.

From his six months of experience as the first DC Niuland, the DC expressed acknowledgment for the support of the ADC and his staff. DC stated that the role of PS to DC is so crucial, and the Dobashi is considered the eye and ear of the administration. He said the Foundation for the upliftment of the district has already been laid and suggested that public leaders of the district should have futuristic planning for the new district and for which both the outgoing DC and ADC particularly thanked the Minister PHED Jacob Zhimomi.

While outgoing ADC Athrila S Sangtam thanked the administrative staff and officers and was of the view that the new district has the potential to be well developed within 5-10 years. Various officers and public leaders attended the program.
