Niuland District Planning & Development Board meeting was held on 28th October 2022 at DC Conference Hall Niuland.

DC and Vice Chairman DPDB Niuland Sara S Jamir in her welcome address acknowledged the officers present and requested the officers in charge of Niuland District and functioning from Dimapur to give equal importance to the Niuland District and warned the erring Officers that the matter will be forwarded to the higher authorities for necessary action.

The following agendas were deliberated and approved during the meeting: Recognition of Hokuto & Kiyekhu village, Construction of Adhoc Town committee office, and construction of drainage at Kuhuboto Town. Approval of DPR for opening Platinum College (WSBAK) at Nihokhu village. Upgradation of EAC Nihokhu to SDO (C) and constitution of Adhoc Town Committee in respect of Nihokhu circle.

The next DPDB meeting will be held outside Niuland Town.
