Niuland District Planning & Development Board meeting was held on 9th August 2022 at DC's Conference Hall, Niuland. DC & Vice chairman DPDB Niuland, Sara S Jamir chaired the meeting.

In her welcome address, DC thanked the officers present and acknowledged the newly posted officers in the district, and also requested those heads of offices functioning from other districts to give equal importance to the Niuland District.

The following agendas were discussed and approved during the meeting. Establishment of Government college with Arts and Commerce stream at Niuland Town, Upgradation of SDO (C) Khuhuboto to ADC Hq. Creation of Police Station at Khaghaboto, Creation of EAC Hq. at Khaghaboto, Establishment of Public Health Center at Khaghaboto, Appointment of Doctor and Nurse at Akito PHC, Appointment of Manpower at Zutoi Sub-center, New school Building construction of GMS Kuhoxu village, Renovation/ Major repair of school building GPS Hovukhu village, Upgradation of Hozukhe GPS School to GMS, Upgradation of Morung Christian academy Xelhozhe village, Opening of Shepherd Montessori at Showuba village and Opening of Peniel Academy school at S. Vihuto village.
