DC Dimapur Anoop Khinchi has informed all concerned that all retail shops in Dimapur District will be permitted to be open from 9am to 4 pm with effect from 20th May 2020. However, all shops in New Market, Hongkong Market, Hazi Park, Millenium Market, Railway Bazaar and vegetable market in Purana Bazaar and all Weekly Bazaar shall remain closed.

DC further informed that hand sanitizer and facilities for hand washing with soap and water for the public as well as for their own staff and regular disinfection and cleaning of door handles, surfaces and other objects which are frequently touched by people to be mandatory and sales persons, shopkeepers and other persons in contact with high number of people should wear masks and maintain social distancing.

For hardware shops the DC has notified all concerned that all hardware shops in Dimapur District will be permitted to open from 6am to 12 noon with effect from 20th May 2020.
