A meeting of the Confederation of All Nagaland State Services Employees' Association (CANSSEA) was convened at the DRDA Conference Hall in Mon on October 26, 2023. Dr. Ilang, President of CANSSEA, chaired the meeting and extended a warm welcome to all the members in attendance.

 During the meeting, several important points were discussed:

Dr. Ilang, President of CANSSEA, highlighted the National Pension Scheme (NPS) and the transition to the Old Pension Scheme (OPS).

Dr. Tali, Advisor to CANSSEA, supplemented the discussion by addressing the district tour and recommended the revival of the CANSSEA Unit in Mon.

It was decided that a membership fee of Rs 200 per employee per year would be collected.

A Coordination Committee was formed, consisting of members responsible for the revival of the CANSSEA Unit in Mon. The committee was tasked with completing this process by the 2nd week of November 2023. The members of the Coordination Committee are as follows:

Dr. Manjon Konyak, Veterinary & Animal Husbandry (Convener), Angun Wangsa, Fisheries (Member), N. L. Wanmei Konyak, Agriculture (Member), Kaiwang Konyak, Art & Culture (Member), and C. Yeilih, District Administration (Member)

            The meeting was attended by Dr. Ilang, President of CANSSEA, Dr. Tali Imsong, Advisor to CANSSEA, and delegates representing various departments in Mon District.
